I’ve been using broadwayhd on my tablet, it’s been easy to deal with. I mostly pay attention to whether I can find the show I want, start it quickly, and pick it back up later without a hassle, and so far, it does all of that just fine. The search has worked well for me, shows load without taking forever, and pausing then coming back later is smooth. I haven’t really noticed any major issues, so for what I use it for, it’s been a nice, simple app

I kinda expected there to be more stuff on here, but the library feels small. A lot of shows I thought would be available just werent there, so I ended up scrolling more than actually watching anything.

I really wish the captions were more consistent. Sometimes they’re fine, but other times they miss too much or don’t match what’s being said. When I’ve tried to deal with it, the whole experience makes me feel like just another ticket number instead of someone actually being heard.

I tried to cancel before my next billing date, but I ended up getting charged anyway. The cancel page was confusing, and by the time support got back to me, it felt way too late. I don’t think I’ll be using BroadwayHD again, it was just a big "hassle" for no reason

I gave it 4 stars because the pricing was easy to understand before I signed up, which I really appreciated. There wasn’t a bunch of random hidden stuff popping up at checkout, so I didn’t feel tricked or surprised. That said, I did feel a little trapped trying to figure out which plan made the most sense, since the differences between them could be explained better. Overall, straightforward, just needs a bit more clarity

I really wanted to like BroadwayHD because I love the idea of being able to watch stage shows from home. It sounds perfect in theory, especially when you can’t get to a live performance easily.

But a lot of the filmed productions just didn’t really work for me on screen. Some of the camera angles felt awkward, and there were moments where it cut around so much that I felt like I was missing what was actually happening on stage. The sound was a little inconsistent too, with voices being clear one minute and then oddly quiet the next.
There are definitely a few good shows on there, so I wouldn’t say it’s all bad. But overall it felt hit or miss, and not something I’d keep paying for every month. I wanted it to feel more like a theater experience, but it just felt...

I was in a cozy, stay-in kind of mood and this worked well for our theater night. Nothing too fancy, but it did the job and made the whole setup feel a bit more fun.

I used it a bunch, and, it worked every time. Nothing crashed, nothing froze, and I didn’t run into any issues.

I ran into a login issue right before I was about to watch something, which was annoying. I sent a message to support thinking I’d probably be waiting a while.
They got back to me quicker than I expected and actually seemed to read what I wrote. It wasn’t one of those generic copy-paste replies, just a simple fix that made sense, and they stuck around until I was back in.
It made the whole thing less frustrating. Problems happen, but getting a quick, normal response definitely made me feel better about keeping the subscription...

broadwayhd has been worth it for me. I’ve been able to watch shows I never would’ve had the chance to see live, and the recordings are surprisingly polished, clear sound, good camera angles, and close-ups that actually make you feel like you’re catching the performances up close. It costs less than one night at the theater, so even if every single show isn’t exactly my style, there’s still more than enough to make it feel like a great deal

I wasn’t expecting BroadwayHD to look this good, though maybe I just had low expectations for streaming theater. The video stayed really sharp through the whole show and didn’t buffer once for me. The sound lined up fine too, which I always notice if it’s even a little off. I watched on my laptop and it was smooth the whole time. I’m happy with it, and now I’m wondering if I judged it too quickly before trying it...

I used it with my phone, tablet, and TV, and it worked fine on all of them. how easy it was to get everything connected was kind of ridiculous.

Of course my card needed updating right when I was trying to deal with an old plan, so the timing was annoying. But sorting it out was painless. The account page was easy enough to follow, I updated the card, canceled the plan, and nothing acted weird. Always nice when something just works

Just a heads up, there are way more shows on here than I expected. I went in thinking I’d watch one thing, and suddenly I was finding concerts I missed live and a bunch of old favorites I hadn’t seen in ages. If you’re into musical shows, be careful because it’s very easy to keep clicking around and lose track of time.

I really wanted to enjoy broadwayhd more, because the idea of having all these shows in one place is great. But the sound has been inconsistent for me.
Some parts are way too quiet, then the music suddenly gets loud and I’m reaching for the volume again. A lot of the vocals can sound kind of muffled too, which makes musicals harder to follow. The video looks fine, but the audio definitely gets in the way.
